I’m a fun and outgoing photographer based in downtown Indianapolis, where I've lived for the past eight years. My photography journey began about nine years ago at my second home, a summer camp based in Michigan. I instantly fell in love with both the creative stories that can be told through the lens, and the kids in front of the lens who had endless energy. I quickly found that there is nothing quite like the joy of seeing people light up when they see themselves in photos.
When I’m not behind the camera, I’m usually hanging out with friends, enjoying walks, hikes, bike rides, or a really tasty treat! I'm married to my best friend, Tharyn, who get's to be my second shooter for weddings. He has a golden retriever spirit and will be your right hand man on the big day!
Long before my photo journey began, I always lived life hoping to make strangers feel like friends. And now that I'm in the photo world and have the privilege of meeting strangers all the time, my goal is no different! My hope is that you feel like you’re hanging out with a friend during our photoshoot. I want to capture your genuine smiles and the fun, relaxed moments that make life special. (I'll also be behind the camera shouting "cuteeeee" way too many times).

Fun Fact #1
I'm gluten, dairy, soy, and egg free. I guess that's not the most 'fun' fact, but despite these hurdles, I have perfected the best vegan/gluten free chocolate chip cookie recipe (that's definitely a fact)! If you have these allergies too, give me a heads up and I might be able to sneak a couple your way during our session!
Fun Fact #2
My friends and I have been doing 'themed dinners' for almost three years straight. Each month we choose an outrageous theme - grandmas, colonial, colors, the derby, tourists, (and also put on a layer of confidence) as we step out into a restaurant downtown in our outfits. It's one of my favorite times with sweet friends, and also produces the best laughs and memories.
Fun Fact #3
My husband Tharyn is the only guy I have ever dated! We are a Hinge success story and I knew he was the one from our first date. We are both enneagram sevens with a lot of energy and desire to simply have fun. Apart from a love for Jesus, our main commonality is how much we genuinely love the people, strangers and friends alike, around us.

I go on a different hiking trip with my parents each year! We have now done eight different trips, and it's always one of the highlights of my entire year! We choose a fun new destination, and they always plan the craziest hikes for us! Our latest adventure included hiking at Banff!
